what are your plans?

We celebrated Easter with my husband's family last night, because my father in law is working on Easter Sunday. We had so much fun! Let me tell you how sweet my mother in law is! She is so funny. She will never consider her kids too old for Easter baskets, even though her youngest is 21, oldest 26, and the middle child is now a mother! Anyways, she hid eggs all over the house and then had us go looking for them on a little egg hunt! After that, we colored Easter eggs, which is something I haven't done in years! I can't believe how much fun we all had doing the kiddiest of holiday activities! She just loves being a mom, and we are Ok with that; she is good at spoiling us

So as for Easter Sunday, we are having a brunch with my family at our place, then going to the Pistons game at night (also a gift from my mother in law) with my husband's sister and her husband! I am super excited, I have never been to a basketball game before, and we love the Pistons. Can't wait to see Chauncy, my favorite!

So what fun things do you have planned for Easter?

My MIL is coming over on Good Friday for decorating eggs and cookies. We are hosting an Easter Egg hunt and brunch Saturday morning for neighbors and friends. No real plans for Easter day yet. We will certainly be here to see what the Easter Bunny brings but will hopefully meet up with friends some time after that.

Hey, you don't have to be a kid or have kids to enjoy decorating eggs. I plan to do it forever even if my kids don't want to anymore. I just enjoy silly stuff like that.
