I thought it was about time I announced it to the few people who know me on here...I'm pregnant! My husband and I are expecting our first baby, due in February! As we are past three months, we have told everyone here at work, and we heard the heartbeat last week which gave us confirmation of everything progressing as it should. It was amazing hearing the heartbeat. I have had tons of the usual unpleasant pregnancy symptoms, but it seemed so surreal until hearing the proof that there is actually something in there! So, needless to say, we are extremely excited and happy about this, and wanted to share the good news!!

Many, many congratulations. I'm sure the fun unpleasantness of pregnancy has already begun. Hang tough.

Thanks to both of you! Yes, it has been hard at times, but I know it is worth it!

Congrats!! That's really exciting. I don't know you except through JU, but from what I do know of you, it seems like you will be a terrific mom!

Keep us updated, ok?

Congratulations. Your world is about to be turned upside down, but in a good way. Babies are so much fun....and work...but worth it.

Take your vitamins. Get plenty of rest...and eat lots of chocolate.

Congratulations!  First pregnancies are always beautiful things, even though there may be times you don't think so.  You're doing important work; growing that new little person inside you!

As you know, I knit.  Can I make you a beanie and send it to Stardock?

Thank you! That is so nice of you, please do feel free to send one, we'd love it! Especially since I won't be attempting to try knitting anything! Yes, as hard as it has been at times, I am ejoying the pregnancy and feel luck to be able to experience it. I am looking forward to feeling the baby move in a few weeks!

Thanks! I am trying, as much rest as I get I always feel tired, but that's OK. I am lucky that I have a desk job and get to sit most of the day ....and eat chocolate!
